Behind the Scenes
Established in the year 2012 in Los Angeles, California, Lady éLan Films was created to develop its first feature film entitled Seoul, U.S.A. Inspired by Olympic Gold Medalists Lynnette Love and Arlene Limas and Olympic Coach Grandmaster Sang Lee, Seoul, U.S.A. is a story about the first U.S.A. Women’s Tae Kwon Do Team to bring home the most gold medals in the Olympic Martial Arts Competition would become one of many films in pre-development under the Lady éLan Films umbrella. Since then, Lady éLan Films has added two streaming series, Black In The Future and Anthropological to its portfolio.
Spearheaded by Actress and Filmmaker Cherrelle éLan, Lady éLan Films supports the BIPOC (Black Indigenous People Of Color) Movement to include films and programs in the Entertainment Industry. Primarily focusing on the Black American experience, the productions in development include underrepresented images that are targeted toward underserved audiences.
Having partnered with organizations like Phoenix Cultural Resources, Lady éLan Films is positioned as the premier provider of medium to low budget independent quality culturally based content.
